A small waterfall in the Plotter Kill Preserve. This place is about 10 minutes from my friend's house, you'd never think it. The out-of-focus rock in the corner bugs me, this is what happens when you don't bring a tripod. Or when you don't take the time to build your own mini-tripod out of rocks, which is probably what I should have done.

I decided that the blurry rock in the bottom left corner had to go. I really liked the view of the forest/creek that was in the old version, but keeping that rock in there just wasn't worth it.
While that one blurry rock in front could be a bother, I think the mist of water before the fall makes up for it. I find that fantastic and worth the fav. However if the rock still alienates you, you can always crop it out of the photo. =]
The lighting of the photo and colors along with the scenery and water falling (which is why I faved the pic) is fantastic. Good job.

I'd like to go back and redo the same shot in the autumn, when the flow is greater and the leaves change color. And of course, without that pesky rock in the way.

That whole day was an experiment with running water and slow shutter speeds. I had never really tried the effect before. I was happy with how they came out
=] I'm glad you're happy with how it came out. I've enjoyed quite alot of this pic. Sometimes you loose plenty of stuff during a crop, but other times it saves the rest of the pic. Don't know how it would've conscrewed this pic, though.
